Edward Shenderovich

Edward Shenderovich (born 1976) is a Russian-American entrepreneur and poet. He is the founder and Managing Director of Kite Ventures, a venture fund with investments in (Darberry ) (acquired by Groupon), (Fyber ), Delivery Hero, Auctionata and Tradeshift. Prior to Kite Ventures, Shenderovich was a founding executive and the Head of Strategic Development at SUP(), a Moscow-based Internet company. He also co-founded (Quantum Art ), a content management software provider and (Merchantry ) (acquired by Tradeshift.
==Business==
Shenderovich was born in Leningrad, USSR (now St. Petersburg, Russia) and came to the United States in 1990. He graduated from University of California at Berkeley and clerked at Baker & McKenzie in St. Petersburg, Russia, and San Francisco, California. In 1998, he left Baker & McKenzie to co-found Reasonance, an early blogging/RSS management company, ran a small web development/Internet strategy consulting practice, and later joined Silicon Valley Bank, as its industry analyst for communications and online services. In 2000, Edward founded OIKEO, a modular web software company, which was merged with Quantum Art later in the same year. Edward became Quantum Art’s CEO in 2004, following the company’s spin out of Ixtens, and is currently serving on the board of both entities.
